Schools Closed
Due to air quality concerns and the health and safety of our staff and students, all Hueneme Schools will be closed on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, December 13-15. We will reopen after Winter Break on Wednesday, January 3rd.

Due to the state of emergency, we are eligible to apply for exemption for the days missed. This means we will not need to make up the days or alter our calendar for the rest of the school year. We know there were many holiday related events and activities planned for this week that have now been cancelled or postponed, the decisions made were based on student and staff safety remaining our number one priority. We look forward to welcoming our students back in the new year.

REMINDER: Traffic Safety

We want to make sure that students arrive to school safely and get home safely every single day.  We are asking all students and family members to assist with several simple safety procedures.

·        Please park in designated parking stalls only. Do not park in yellow loading/unloading zones, double-park, block traffic, or wait/park in red zones.

·        Please make sure that students do not walk through parking lots and that the sidewalk is used at all times. Students should never walk between parked cars.

·        Students must cross all streets at designated crosswalks only.

·        Family members are asked to be patient and considerate of all other adults at all times.

Homework Help:

All students will able to attend the homework help offered in the lab.  The homework help is available on a daily basis from 7:30-8 a.m. The students obtain help from a teacher in the computer lab.
